How we handle dental emergencies
A dental emergency is any sudden problem causing pain, bleeding, swelling or damage that cannot reasonably wait for a routine appointment. When you call, a member of the team will ask a few quick questions to understand what has happened and how urgent it is, then find you the next available slot. Existing and new patients are both seen.
Same-day appointments are common, but not guaranteed; it depends on what has come in that morning and how busy the diary already is. What we can promise is that we will not simply tell you to "call back tomorrow." If we cannot fit you in within hours, we will get you seen within a day, and talk you through what to do for relief in the meantime.

Can a broken tooth be repaired in one visit?

Often, yes. Many chips and breaks can be repaired the same day with composite bonding or a temporary restoration while we plan anything more permanent. Your dentist will explain the options and the likely timescale at your appointment.
